We really enjoyed our long weekend at High Falls.

The "falls" were REALLY falling with all that rain we had... it looked like Niagra Falls roaring over that dam! We could hear it all the way over at the River campground...

They had two of the loops closed. Not enough campers. The ranger was saying they sure hope things pickup... they need the business & the money.

This place is centrally located in the state, along with Indian Springs. Maybe we should try to schedule a group trip there...

Wanting to make a trip - maybe a three day weekend trip - to High Falls in the fall. Any news on a group trip? Anyone else planning a trip?

High falls is a good spot for the Peach Sate crew to do a quick weekend trip at some point in the fall. No plans as of yet, but with a few of us doing a 10/9 trip it would be likely to go late October to early Novenber.
