Tubing down the Toccoa River

We are planning on going to the Toccoa Valley Campground in Blue Ridge at the end of July. The campground is nestled next to a river where tubing is offered within the campground floating down the Toccoa River. 10 sites are available with full hook up. Check out this link http://www.toccoavalleycampground.com/ We just finished a great trip to Tennessee where we kayaked down the Hiawassee so we are looking forward to this trip as well.

I checked out Toccoa Valley CG and found out that if you’re using GPS you will be off by nine miles. I have listed the coordinates below. The best way to get there is up 575 to Blue Ridge. Just before you get into Blue Ridge turn right onto East 1st Street aka 76/5. Follow signs to the driver’s license and it will take you to your next right turn, Industrial Blvd. This road will dead end at Aska Rd., make a right and go about 10 miles and the campground will be on your left.

We will be at Unicoi State Park the two nights prior to Toccoa, if anyone wants to join us. That will be Wed and Thu nights, 7/28 and 7/29.

We are looking forward to meeting folks we haven't met yet at Toccoa.

Sat. sounds good to me. FYI we bought new spatula so there should be no problems with our hot dish if we decide to make another lol.
